I get this issue too, but just as node37 and growl have stated, I have an idea that the issue is the 2-factor auth. I was able to login on the android app fine until recently, and it pretty much is if I am re-asked for the password, it won't accept the correct password, but if I tell it to log out and go to the main login screen, it accepts just fine.
