If you're using a Plusnet 2704n or a Technicolor 582n, it'll be the fourth Ethernet socket on the back of your router. If you're using Wi-Fi, have a look at our Wireless connection guide for more help. If this hasn't fixed the problem, go to Plug your router into the master socket.

ok we had a storm yesterday. now my wireless laptop, ps3 etc are working fine but i cant connect on my desktop via ethernet. The cable is fine as I have tried it with other devices. the problem appears to be in the yellow connectors on the back of the modem. any ideas would be appreciated. really dont wanna have to ring tech support as it takes forever to get someone to help.

But I've read the manual and it says to shortly press the front wireless button, I do that and nothing happens at all. I have a solid orange light for Thomson TG784 Reset with Button. This is the simplest way to reset the Thomson TG784 WiFi router. All routers have this Reset button. Reset delete all internet or and wireless settings on your device (IP addresses, DNS details, WiFi password, etc).
