Turned out there is a MAJOR compatibility issue with Norton/Symantec products. After trying various solutions from around the web, I was still unable to connect to the internet or really even get an IP address. The Internet not working issue is caused by when the guest operating system queries for DNS Server from Shared Network (NAT) virtual router, the guest OS is configured to use the same DNS servers which are used by the physical host for some reason the internet connection on my pc is not working. i have a LAN connection. please help me in getting it to work under vista.
